I have the same issue. I've been uninstalling Intel Graphics Software, then reinstalling it using the driver installer to fix it and adjust my tuning options.

Only until it crashes due to instability again. But I found a faster way. If you open C:\Program Files\Intel\Intel Graphics Software and then right+click on IntelGraphicsSoftware.Service.exe and run it as administrator, you will be able to see the Tuning section and edit the options.
That is what I will be doing until Intel fixes this issue.

Dude, use the old Intel ARC CONTROL PANEL, it's the healthiest one, the new interface really sucks.

Hello Himel,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
I have further checked and tried to replicate the issue. Please proceed with installing this driver version 32.0.101.6557_101.6262 (Latest). It has the tuning section available. Attached screenshot.
Please let me know if this helps.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hello Himel,
The Intel® Graphics Software Performance Tuning (BETA) was added to this driver version. Please check the Release Notes (Page 2).
I highly recommend performing clean installation of this driver (version 32.0.101.6557/32.0.101.6262) using the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU).
Let me know how it goes.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

I have faced the same Intel® Graphics Software Performance Tuning (BETA) missing problem after this latest driver update, then i followed this method and using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), i ran a clean installation of this driver (version32.0.101.6557/32.0.101.6262). After the clean installation of this driver i found the Tuning (BETA) section in Intel® Graphics Software but, after that when i restarted the PC, i found that the Intel® Graphics Software Performance Tuning (BETA) is missing again. I have done this for two times and every time after restarted the PC i found the Tuning (BETA) missing problem again and again!

Hi Himel,
We have a new Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6559 (WHQL Certified) released on 2/10/2025, however, we are still actively working on the issue with the missing Tuning Beta. You may check the release notes, where this is a known issue. (ReleaseNotes_101.6559_WHQL.pdf).
Additionally, may I ask if the issue occurs when simply closing and reopening the application, or if it happens after restarting and turning on the computer and then opening IGS? Based on our investigation, this issue occurs because the IntelGraphicsSoftware.service was not started, and the Tuning tab depends on this service.
I hope to hear from you to proceed with further investigation.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hi JeanetteC,
The problem persists in this latest driver update you suggest. However, I was able to find the pattern under which it happens and replicate it all the times.
So the 2 latest drivers update (after the 6460, which works perfectly) have 2 major problems:
1) The performance of the card seems to have been decreased heavily in DX9 (about 20% in my case from ~210 fps to ~170 fps) and less in DX11 (about 5-10% from ~95 fps to ~85-90 fps) as observed in passmark's 3d benchmark testing. I have made several tests and the problem is apparent. Other passmark 3D benchmark tests are not affected at all.
2) Regarding the issue with the absent performance tuning tab the problem occurs ONLY after tweaking the fan & thermal tuning options. For example if you go to the advanced options and change the fan curve to become a little bit more aggressive in order to maintain a better thermal curve on your card, the next time you reboot your machine the intel graphics software service, though it starts, it is not visible on the tray and if somehow manage to invoke it from the start menu, you cannot see the perfomance tuning tab*.
Strangely, the problem DOES NOT appear if you tweak with other tuning options, which are much more dangerous, in my perception, such as the gpu tuning. IT ONLY APPEARS IF YOU CHANGE THE FAN & THERMAL TUNING default behavior, which is kind of strange since this is a tuning option that do not affect the operation of the card but rather its fan, and in a beneficial way!!!
* The only way to see again the app with the tuning tab visible (apart from uninstalling it and reinstalling from the downoaded update package) is the following:
1) You should stop the Intel graphics software service from the task manager (services tab)
2) Invoke the Intel graphics software app from the start menu. This will start the app but with the tuning tab absent
3) close the app by pressing the x on the top right so that the app moves to the taskbar tray
4) Start again the Intel graphics software service from the task manager (from services)
5) No if you go to the tray icon and open the app, the tuning tab is visible again and you can perform your tweaking again. You can reset the fan & and thermal tuning to its default and the next time you reboot everything will work properly.
However if you change the fan curve again then the problem wiil appear again.
For your information I own an Asrock intel arc a750 gpu on an i5 - 13400 cpu on a Gigabyte B760M DSH DDR4 motherboard (igpu has been disabled from the bios) and I didn't have any problems until the 6460 driver.
Thanks in advance
