This is a fresh windows 10 reinstall on a laptop PC "ASUS TUF DASH F15", The monitor recently failed and was replaced along with an install of Windows 11, There was some language setting issues that we couldn't fix so we just reinstalled Windows 10 to see if that would work and after downloading all the recommended drivers eventually the intel ones caused the monitor to display 3 vertical black bars consistently in the same place with red green blue vertical effects distorting all the color.
Current workaround that lets me see the screen normally is just disabling the "Intel Iris Xe Graphics" display adapter in the device manager and after a restart back to normal. But this workaround leads to the GPU not being used as any game tested with this runs extremely poorly with 100% GPU usage in task manager.
When I undo this workaround games run smoothly with lower GPU usage but is not playable with the display issues.
Picture below is the rendering issue in action, black bars do not move, color looks grey-scaled with RGB lines ontop of it.
Edit:
Plugging in a second display does not work, monitor ends up saying its unsupported while the computer does think there's a second display to loose the mouse cursor in.
I have tried getting drivers from the Dash F15 2022 page, there is no difference and the webpage now says I have them after the system scan prompt. "Your product has the latest driver installed. Model:FX516PM".
