I recently got a new ASRock Intel Arc B580 Steel Legend 12GB OC, but I have had some issues with this GPU regarding performance while screensharing, live streaming or even remote play in games while using Parsec or Steam Remote Play for example. I can't screenshare on Discord with a resolution higher than 720p at 60fps before my game begins to stutter and lose FPS. I also can't screen-record my gameplay footage at a higher resolution than 1280x720 before it becomes unbearable to play. Last but not least, I can't host or join my friends via Remote Play when I want to play a local game with them without having input delay of up to 7 seconds. I have tried everything I could find on how to fix it. I ran DDU 3 times, all 3 of them in safe mode and nothing changed. I enabled Resizable-Bar in my BIOS, I have updated my graphics drivers and BIOS drivers to the newest version and even bought more RAM if that may have been the issue but nothing has worked so far. I have put down my log from the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows in the attachment. I have also provided a picture of my Task Manager to show my GPU utilization spike to almost 100% when I'm screensharing in my native resolution (2560x1440) at 60 FPS with no game open. I hope someone can help me with this because it's driving me nuts
Kind regards
Cyberboy

Hi Cyberboy,
Thank you for posting in the community. To help us investigate this situation further, I have a few questions:
- Besides using Discord, have you tried other platforms for screen sharing? If so, could you provide the names of those applications, and let me know if the issue persists with them?
- Have you attempted to roll back to previous driver versions for testing?
- Could you provide the exact model of your monitor?
- Which display adapter are you currently using—HDMI or DisplayPort?
- Lastly, have you reached out to Asrock for further assistance?
Best regards,

To answer your questions:
* I've even tried Teams and got 30% GPU usage while not even sharing on any high resolution from within my browser. See attachment for proof. But Teams was just to see if the issue persists on other apps as well. I mainly use Discord for everything.
* I have not attempted to roll back to any previous drivers because this issue has existed since I've bought the GPU and that's from around the 20th of December and the GPU just got released around that time.
* My exact monitor is a LG UltraGear 27GN800P-B 27" Quad HD IPS 144Hz Gaming monitor
* I am currently using DisplayPort for my main monitor which is a 2K monitor and im using HDMI for my secondary monitor which runs in 1600x900
* I have not reached out to ASROCK for further assistance yet because this issue arose after I updated my GPU from a RTX 2060 to the Intel Arc B580
I hope to have answered your questions with this and hope to hear back from you soon.
Kind regards
Cyberboy

Hi Cyberboy,
Before I proceed with further investigation and attempt to replicate the issue, could you let me know if you were able to screen share your game at 1440p@60Hz on Discord using your RTX GPU? Or there is a limit on the resolution as well?
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.

Hi Dhanniel,
I've never had any issues with Discord screensharing on my RTX GPU and always screenshared on the max settings, because I have Discord Nitro.
With kind regards,

Hi Cyberboy,
Thank you for sharing this information.
Upon reviewing the attached SSU logs, it appears that the graphics driver is outdated. We have recently released a new version, 32.0.101.6647. Could you please download and install this update and inform us if the issue persists? Additionally, could you try disabling hardware acceleration to determine if it affects the situation?
I hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,

Dear Jed G,
I already had that driver version installed because I had turned off WHQL certified driver updates. I had this version for a week I think, but I'm not sure exactly. And yes, the issue still persists. I have also switched hardware acceleration on and off multiple times to see if that would change it but to no avail
Kind regards

Hi JedG,
Recently, I have also been getting more frequent BSOD's and the frequency of the BSOD's have risen since I've gotten this GPU. I was curious if the issue was on my RAM sticks since I purchased some new ones around the same time, but the MEMTEST86 I ran for 16 hours showed that all 13 tests passed with 0 errors. Did I receive a faulty GPU? Because if that's the case, I would just want a new one.
With kind regards
Cyberboy
