ARC versions: 101.4577 and 101.4578
When switching between applications while in the game makes the game glitch then it crashes. Once you switch out of the game by ALT Tabbing and switch back in, the game screen goes blank and becomes irresponsive.
You have to force close the game and then log back into the game to resume. Please note that the LOL client remains unaffected.
Your help in this will be highly appreciated.
Much thanks
Sai

Hello Diablosfiji
Thank you for posting on the Intel® ARC™ Graphics Communites. I know it is frustrating to be experiencing freezes or crashes when playing your favorite games, but I will be glad to assist with this issue.
At the moment we are currently trying to replicate a similar issue when using ALT+TAB in League of Legends only difference is that the game would freeze the whole system and I understand from your post that only the game would freeze with a blank screen in your case, correct?
In regard to the driver have you tried reinstalling either version 4577 or 4578 using Display Driver Uninstaller to delete any corrupted driver that might be causing issues? I see that those are the version that you reported, so Are the previous driver working fine for you like version 31.0.101.4575?
In order to also get more context on this issue, Could you please let us know if it happens in both fullscreen and borderless window mode?
Best Regards,

Hi Hugo
We are here to help make Arc better, your assistance in this issue has been pretty awesome.
I can confirm that for me only the game froze and not the entire system.
I cannot be sure what was the previous version because I had simply used IDSA to do an update.
This had happened in Fullscreen mode. However, as a note, I do use 2 screens. Sorry, that I forgot to mention this previously.
Regards

Hello Diablosfiji
Thank you for that information. I understand from your other thread related to Arc Control not opening that you need more time to do a driver installation using Display Driver Uninstaller since that will be a good test for this issue as well, let us know the results once done. Also, if possible, since it is confirmed the issue happens in fullscreen verify if the problem can be replicated in Borderless Windows mode.
From our experience, some of the issues related to League of Legends are sometimes related to the specific launcher regions, so we would also appreciate it if you could let us know the regions of your launcher so we can have it into consideration if the replication of this issue is needed.

Hello Diablosfiji
As we mentioned in one of our previous posts we were trying to replicate this issue and were able to reproduce it with the game crashing/freezing when trying to use ALT+TAB. At the moment we are working on the problem and there is no estimated time for the issue to be fixed but I will let you know as soon as we have an update on this.

I can confirm that I also experience this.
I have tested this on as well a intel processor motherboard with a intel arc a750 and a amd processor motherboard.
Both of them trigger the same issue.
I use 2 screens. I will try to replicate it with one screen and see if that might be a issue.

I am so very sorry for the delay in replying to your email. League of legends is working flawlessly with the new drivers. Thank you very much. I have put aside my 2080 Ti and using my A770 full time.
