Missing thermal sensors for intel Arc Gpu linux

In my PC I have an Intel ARC b580 with all intel driver installed and also with oneAPI.

Running lm_sensor or any other software for gpu managing  (I tried with NVTOP and LACT) the gpu core thermal sensors and VRAM sensors are not detected.

Currently I'm using Fedora Linux 42 Workstation.

Hi Giovanni_Scordilli,

Thank you for posting on the Intel Community Forum. I wanted to inform you that Intel Arc GPUs are currently only officially supported on Ubuntu. As a result, certain features like sensor detection may not function properly on Fedora due to missing drivers or compatibility issues.

If you choose to switch to Ubuntu, you can install the appropriate drivers for Intel Arc GPUs, which may resolve the sensor detection problem you're facing.

If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hi Giovanni_Scordilli,

I appreciate your interest in seeing Intel Arc driver support for RHEL/Fedora distributions. This is indeed an exciting prospect for the Linux community, and I will be recommending this to our development team for consideration.

While we recognize the importance of expanding compatibility, please note that we do not have an exact timeline for when such a feature might be implemented. Rest assured, your suggestion will be taken into account as we continue to explore ways to enhance our support for various platforms.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
