Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, impossible to play, screen covers in yellow sparks. A770

Platform: EA Play (PC Gamepass).

The game is almost impossible to play, whether it is in game or in the menus, the screen gets covered in a yellow mass of sparks that don't let you see most of the game.

I am tired of recording videos for these types of issues, so I didn't bother.

I got two screenshots. One from a message I get in a pop-up window when launching the game, and the other in-game. Only the "videos" in the menus -which appear when you are idle and not playing- show no problems.

Also, the game suddenly crashed to the desktop for no apparent reason seconds after taking the second screenshot.

Latest drivers. SSU included.

Hello laxesta,

Thank you for the quick reply

Intel Arc requires at least 600W of power supply. You can try a 600W or higher power supply and check if there will be changes.

Please check the link below for the power supply requirement and other information for Intel Arc graphics.

Hello laxesta,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For us to further check this, please help provide the following details:

  1. Was it working fine before?
  2. Did you change any settings before the issue started?
  3. Are you using an Intel brand Arc A770 or is it from a 3rd party manufacturer?
  4. What is the model of your processor?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

hello @Mike_Intel

I've read the previous post, but I had nothing to say in that regard. Tbh, I've never had an issue with a game because of my power supply, since I underclocked the CPU some years ago but I dunno what the issue might be.

Best regards.
