The Finals poor performance

Any plans for a driver update that improves performance for The Finals game? It runs poorly despite being a DX12 title. I'm not having any major issues or anything. It's just the overall performance seems lower than it should be on the ARC GPUs.

Hello leicabtkn,

Thank you for posting on the Intel Communities. Based on your question about the driver update that improves performance for The Finals game, it would be important to mention that Intel will continue to improve our software performance and compatibility throughout 2023 and beyond. However, we can continue assisting you with the performance issue you are experiencing.

To better assist you, please provide us with the following:

  • What is the game distribution service? (Steam, Microsoft Store, Epic Games, Xbox Game Pass)
  • Is this performance issue related to a particular section of the game, map, or game mode?
  • Did you have another graphics card before you installed the Arc Graphics?
  • Share with us the exact graphics card model (Limited Edition, Sparkle, GUNNIR, AsRock, Acer, etc).
  •  Provide us with a report using the Intel System Support Utility (Intel SSU) to check more details about your system:
    • Open the application and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel SSU will take you to the "Summary View."
    • Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
    • To save your scan: click "Next"; then "Save."

Best regards
