Dear Support Community,
I have encountered a performance issue while playing Minecraft version 1.21.1 utilizing Intel driver 32.0.101.5971 although the same issue also presented itself with older drivers. This FPS issue is possibly due to low GPU usage with both the Arc A350M and the Xe Graphics which never goes above around 20-30% (Fig 2-4) in game.
The settings I used for the game are the following:

Thank you for the help,

Hello Dhanniel M.,
Thank you for your response,
I have updated the drivers on both systems to version 32.0.101.6319 (performing a clean installation), but unfortunately did not see any improvements in regard to FPS or GPU utilization. I can confirm that I have been using vanilla minecraft but all testing has been conducted on version 1.21.1. However, I have noticed that the same issue persists on version 1.20.2 as well as 1.8.9 (I have not tested on other versions).
Thank you for your support,
Minerfella

Hello Minerfella,
Thank you for patiently waiting. Could you try enabling Ray Tracing when playing Minecraft and let me know how the performance is after enabling it? Additionally, please stay tuned for driver updates, which are intended to enhance your gaming experience.
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.

Hello Dhanniel M.,
Thank you for your response, however, I am unaware of the possibility of enabling Ray Tracing in Minecraft Java edition without the use of shader packs and, as this seems counter intuitive to improving performance, I was wondering if there was another way to do so in Vanilla or if I have to install a shader pack.
Thank you for your continued support,
Minerfella

Hello Minerfella,
Thanks for patiently waiting, for now you may try the following workaround:
1. Deactivate the shaders to ensure smooth performance during the longevity of the playthrough
2. Running Minecraft (1.20.2) Java Edition with the following modifications may cause the problem:
* Complementary Reimagined (resource heavy) - throttled after 75 minutes
* MakeUp - Ultra Fast (lightweight) - no data collected
* Rethinking Voxels (extremely resource heavy) - throttled after 65 minutes
* Miniature Shader (lightweight) - throttled after 45 minutes
* Solas Shader (moderately resource heavy) - throttled after 80 minutes
Additionally, please be informed that currently this is a known issue with Arc A-Series GPUs on Minecraft Java Edition. At the moment we do not have an ETA for a fix, I suggest following this article Poor Performance in Older Versions of Minecraft* with Intel® Arc™ Graphics
For now please let me know if there are other inquiries that I can assist you with, and please let me know if for now we can close this inquiry?
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.

Hello Dhanniel M.,
Sorry for the late reply:
Thank you very much for your response, I will attempt the to use the workaround to see if it improves GPU utilization and avoid the more resource heavy modifications. As this utilization issue is known I will wait for future driver updates to see if there is any improvement but I believe that for the moment we can close this inquiry and I wish to thank your for the continuous high quality support you have provided throughout the past months regarding this issue.
Best regards,
Minerfella
