intel arc control graphics adapter says my graphics adapter is not detected on my laptop

i successfully installed the latest driver update for my intel iris xe graphics but when i came back from school it said that my graphics adapter is not connected and the latest driver was not installed.

1. Can you tell me the exact model of your laptop?
2. Did you check the "Clean Installation" box when updating the driver?
3. Have you tried using the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely uninstall and reinstall the driver?
4. Are there any other error messages you encountered?

Additionally, to better understand your system information, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This will generate a text file compiling all your system information. You can follow this Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility for instructions and send the text file here.
