intel arc crashing in Le mans ultimate

Hi There,

I've just picked up early access to Le Mans Ultimate via Steam.  Game won't progress past the initial loading screen, which appears to be an issue with ARC graphics cards. A number of users are having similar issues.  Have tried:

Loading from Steam
Loading from .exe directly
Loading from .exe directly as an administrator
Uninstall and reinstall
Disable Windows Defender
Installing to different SSD (don't have a traditional HDD to try)
Validating install via Steam
Ensuring all drivers are up to date
Closing all non-essential programs

When attempting to load from steam:
Click Play
Play button turns blue and shows "Cancel"
Studio 397 logo flashes
Small window with Le Mans Ultimate V0.4000 in header bar opens
Small window with Le Mans Ultimate V0.4000 closes 1-2 seconds later
Blue "Cancel" button in Steam turns green, showing "Play" again

Same thing happens when loading directly from the .exe, except it does not trigger the Steam button.

I don't run an antivirus other than Windows Defender
No performance monitors such as Afterburner or Riva Tuner installed

No performance enhancements or overclocking of graphics card.

Computer specs:
Intel I7-13700k

Intel Arc A750

MSI mortar B760M 

32Gb corsair RAM
Windows 11

dump file is not uploading: "The attachment's lemansultimateu2ht7vq3.dmp content type (application/octet-stream) does not match its file extension and has been removed."

Same issue Le Mans Ultimate crashes for me on Intel Arc A770 16GB all the time at 100% loading screen, it's really disappointing that one of the best sim racing games out there right now doesn't work properly on Intel GPUs...

I just want to update you that we tried this here on our end,  we've tested the 32.0.101.6647 WHQL Certified (Latest) and the reported issue does not happen. Kindly try the latest driver below and update me if you are still having the same issue:

Are you sure it doesn’t work? Because me and many others are having this issue and all I did was just get the game launch it then make a session and then it would load to 100% and freeze then crash, with default settings.

Update: 32.0.101.6651 still crashes the game

It looks like your Intel Arc A750 GPU might be causing compatibility issues with Le Mans Ultimate in early access. Here are some additional steps you can try:

Potential Fixes

Update ARC GPU Drivers:

• Intel Arc drivers are improving rapidly, so ensure you're on the latest Game Ready driver (Intel's official site).

• Some users have had better results rolling back to an older stable version.

Force DX11 or DX12 Mode:

• Try launching the game with -dx11 or -dx12 launch options in Steam:

  1. Right-click the game in Steam Library → Properties

  2. Under Launch Options, enter:

     diff

     CopyEdit

     -dx11

     or

     diff

     CopyEdit

     -dx12

Check ARC Control Settings:

• Open Intel Arc Control Panel and disable any overlays, resizable BAR, or enhanced sync settings.

Run in Compatibility Mode:

• Right-click the game .exe → Properties → Compatibility tab → Run in compatibility mode for Windows 10.

Check Game Logs:

• Navigate to:

  makefile

  CopyEdit

  C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\LeMansUltimate\logs
