intel innovation 2023 news?

I know there was a different main focus this year,

but I was watching the news today quite frequently anyway-

as I thought we would still get at least some arc / dgpu hw or sw related news,

and going to "Find out how you're pushing the envelope with upcoming updates to Intel® Xe Super Sampling (XeSS), and get a sneak peek in future-looking graphics research. " (day 2, 20.sept Level 200 / 200F) :

Unfortunately, nothing at all, so far...

ty. unfortunately still nothing.

I was expecting at least something, if not "spectacular" then at least "quite cool", you see, because the description above specifically mentioned "upcoming updates to XeSS" .

but as it turns out,

it was either an error in the description,

or short-term change of plans regarding actual content that was shown there,

or, maybe there were some extra "Infos" told only to a handful of people "behind closed doors" not available to public

( I found someone who's been on said event, and he said there was literally "nothing" regarding XeSS that wasn't already known to public before, and that it was more or less only about Meteor Lake, all over again.. )

I really hope you release some "news" soon anyway,

if not "big" ones (like a XeSS "frame gen" equivalent to FSR3 / DLSS3) ,

then still at least some other "decent / cool" stuff, other than bug fixes (which IS in fact also cool.. but that's expected on any version update, so a bit less exciting  )

I just checked this internally and at the moment there is no other information we can share outside of what was talked about at the Intel Innovation event, so no news about XeSS, however, please note and rest assured there is more exciting information coming as the launch of our BattleMage GPUs approach so please stay tuned to upcoming tech events as well as our newsrooms we shared in previous posts.
