In the game Apex Legends, there is an issue with the snow reflections on the map "World's Edge," where they emit bright, random-colored light. After communicating with other players, I found that both the A-series and B-series Arc graphics cards exhibit this bug with the latest driver (32.0.101.8509). After adjusting all in-game settings, I found no improvement. Rolling back the driver to version 8331 resolves this bug but introduces frame rate fluctuations and unpredictable stuttering issues.
Personal specs: CPU i5-13500, GPU A770 16GB.
If convenient, please refer to the video in this link, which shows the bug encountered by other players:https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1WwcJz2EBb/?share_source=copy_web&vd_source=7b499f8b311dd7fc706d2c296568df1d

Hello Eddie_S,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities and for sharing the detailed report regarding the snow reflection issue in Apex Legends on World's Edge map with driver version 32.0.101.8509.
I appreciate you providing the video reference, screenshots and testing with driver rollback. To better understand this issue and provide appropriate recommendations, could you please help with the following:
- Can you confirm if this issue occurs with driver versions 32.0.101.8425/32.0.101.8362 (WHQL Certified)? You may check by clean installation of this driver using DDU uninstaller (in safe mode). This will help us pinpoint when the issue was introduced.
- Are the recommended BIOS settings for A-series cards properly configured?
- Please provide an SSU log file for complete system configuration analysis
- Where was Apex Legends obtained? (Steam, EA App, etc.) - needed for issue replication
- Screenshot of your current in-game graphics settings
- PSU specifications
- Monitors make/model, resolution, refresh rate, color depth format
- Cable connection type (e.g. HDMI 2.1, 2.0, etc., direct HDMI/DisplayPort or using adapters/converters/docks)
- Detailed steps to reproduce this issue (map location, specific conditions, etc.)
This information will help us replicate the issue and work toward a resolution while addressing the performance concerns you experienced with the older driver.
Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Thanks for your reply.
Below is the information:
1. Yes, I have performed a clean installation of the driver after uninstalling it in DDU Safe Mode, but this had no impact on whether the bug occurs.
2. After the clean installation, I kept the graphics card settings at default and did not make any modifications.
3. I can provide that later.
4. I am using the EA App.
5. I can provide screenshots later, but for now, I can describe it: Other than enabling TSAA for anti-aliasing and setting the texture streaming budget to 8GB VRAM, all other options are set to the lowest.
6. The power supply is a Thermaltake SFX 650W Gold certified.
7. The monitor is a Philips 275M8RZ running at 2K resolution with 144Hz mode.
8. I am using a DP 1.4 interface in RGB mode with an 8-bit color depth.
9. The issue is very easy to reproduce: simply enter the World Edge map, and rendering problems appear in areas that should have snowy surfaces.
I hope this information is helpful to you.

Hello Eddie_S,
Thank you for providing this detailed information and confirming that you've already performed a clean driver installation using DDU in Safe Mode.
I understand that the clean installation with driver version 32.0.101.8531 did not resolve the rendering issues you're experiencing on the World Edge map's snowy surfaces.
To proceed with our investigation, we still require the following items you mentioned you can provide later:
Please verify if you've applied the recommended BIOS settings for A-series ARC Graphics card (E.g. enabling ReBAR, disabling CSM/Legacy Mode, and enabling ASPM)
Since we released new driver, version 32.0.101.8531, please proceed with clean installation using DDU (in safe mode) and check if this helps fix the issue.
Are you using a direct DisplayPort cable or any converters/adapters/docks?
If the issue persists, please share the SSU log file as this is crucial for analyzing your system configuration with the new driver installed. Please don't forget the screenshot(s) of your game settings as well (I understand that you've shared some but just to make sure we have all the settings in case we need to replicate the issue)
Please share these when convenient, and we'll continue investigating this World Edge map rendering problem.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Thanks for your reply.
I have enabled ReBAR and CSM, while ASPM remains at its default setting (which should be auto). I have installed cleanly the new driver under the safe mode, but the bug still persists. I am using a direct DP connection without any adapters. I have attached the SSU file in the submission, along with screenshots from the game after updating the driver.
I hope this helps in getting the bug fixed as soon as possible.

Is this still being worked on? The issue is still happening, even on the map "Olympus" with the giant root growing over the carrier ship.
