I've tested both Crimson Desert and The Witcher 3, and I am certain there is a massive FPS drop in crowded cities. In Crimson Desert, I average around 100 FPS in open areas, but upon entering a city, I experience extreme stuttering and the frame rate plummets to the 20s, not recovering until I leave the area.
The same issue persists in The Witcher 3: while I get 130 FPS in forests, it drops as low as 50 FPS in cities. I have overclocked my CPU using PBO, reaching up to 4.65 GHz, and Re-Size BAR is enabled. In Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, the game runs perfectly with Ray Tracing off, but the moment I enable it, performance drops by 80%, accompanied by severe frame drops and stuttering.

Hello @livix,
Thank you for posting your query on the Intel Community Forum!
To help us better understand the issue and investigate further, could you please provide a few additional details:
- Since when have you been experiencing this issue?
- Was the game working fine previously on the same system?
- Have there been any recent software updates or hardware changes (for example, Windows updates, driver updates, or component changes)?
- Are the games downloaded from official websites or third-party link?
Additionally, we kindly request that you generate and share an SSU (System Support Utility) report, which will give us a clearer view of your system configuration.
You can download the SSU tool from the link below:
How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
Important: While generating the SSU report, please ensure that the “Networking” option is unchecked.
Could you also please verify the game files and share the in-game settings along with FPS logs for the affected title? Please note that we can prioritize troubleshooting one game per ticket.
Thank you for your time and cooperation. We look forward to your update.

Thank you for the response. My responses.
I did not experience this issue on my previous setup. My entire system was exactly the same, except I was using an RX 6600 graphics card. I started experiencing these problems as soon as I switched to the Intel Arc B580.
Yes, the game was working much better on the previous system. My GPU usage was consistently at 99%, and I never experienced this kind of CPU overhead issue when entering NPC-heavy areas.
No, I haven't made any software or hardware changes other than replacing the graphics card. However, after installing the B580 and noticing the severe CPU overhead in Crimson Desert, I performed a completely clean, fresh installation of Windows and installed the latest Intel graphics drivers. Unfortunately, it did not resolve the issue.
Yes, I purchased Crimson Desert officially and downloaded it via Steam.
I am currently not at home, but I will generate and send the SSU report as soon as I get back.
My main priority is CRIMSON DESERT. We could use ticket for this game. Sorry, After 18:00 tonight, I will send you the FPS logs along with the in-game settings and SSU. I will be here.
Thank you.
