Hi, sorry for the delay. Yes, I use DDU. I also tested with the 8333 driver and the game works fine with that driver. I'm sending you my event viewer file; I'll send it as text, translated into English to help you. I can't promise to provide the dump file, but I'll try. If you could give me a step-by-step guide, that would be helpful; the website is a bit confusing.

Hello cabeswater,

The graphics driver you used was tested in our simulation and we were able to run the game normally without encountering any issues. To help us further isolate the root cause of your problem, could you please provide the following information:

  • Which GPU were you using when playing No Man's Sky. Radeon 740M or B580 Graphics?
  • As of now, 32.0.101.8626 is the current driver version for your B580 Graphics. Have you tried updating your graphics driver to 32.0.101.8629? Please see this link.
  • Could you please generate and provide the complete Event Viewer logs by following the detailed instructions in this guide.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Best regards,

Stanley B.

Hello StanleyB,

I updated to 8629, even though I'm somewhat against it because there are no changes in the patch notes, but it doesn't hurt to try. It didn't change. I'm sending you the dump files; I opened No Man's Sky a few times, so I'll be sending you at least one dump file, just in case something changes between them. I analyzed them in windbg, and I saw that igxe2hpgicd64.dll was causing some kind of problem.
I was a bit surprised when you said you couldn't reproduce the error. Could it be some Intel graphics software configuration?

Regarding the GPU, it's running Intel ARC, but my GPU cable is connected to the motherboard's HDMI to use the iGPU (yes, it's on purpose; I use it a lot, and I even have some problems involving it, which I opened a ticket for a while ago but haven't received any answers for a while either).
I could even try turning it off to see if there's a conflict, but to be honest, I highly doubt it; I don't see any conflict issues with the iGPU. I haven't tested that yet, but when I do, I'll let you know soon.

Good luck, Stanley! Please keep me informed.

Hello cabeswater,

Thank you for patiently waiting. Upon review, your OS build appears to be outdated. Would you be able to update to the most recent build and conduct testing with the affected game?

If the problem continues after the update, kindly send us a new SSU file for additional analysis.

Best regards,

hello
The SSU is old; I had already tested it with an updated Windows.

Hi, the 8724 driver managed to get No Man's Sky working again, I tested it here. However, the driver is extremely broken; my voltage is stuck at 0.87V and the card frequency doesn't go above 1800MHz. I reverted the driver and the game stopped working, but my voltage and frequency returned to normal. I would even say that we have the problem solved, but I prefer to wait for the next driver and see if the game continues to work, and fix this problem I mentioned. Then we can confirm.
