Hello Michael,
1. It was working before, although on a different Windows Installation. I did a new Windows Installation on a new SSD. Also, the LIVE Game version before was 4.4 so it might have something to do with that as well.
2. Last change: Game Update as well as new Windows install.
3. I tried reverting to an older driver version which was provided by Intel. I also tried changing the Game Engine to DX11 but it still doesn't work. I also tried verifying the Game files.
4. I attached the SSU

Hello TheRiddler,
I am reaching out on behalf of my colleague, Michael. Based on the referenced article, this issue is not observed when using game update 4.1.0‑live.9650658 together with the latest graphics driver. Please ensure that your game is fully up to date.
If the issue persists, the only available workaround at this time is to temporarily wait for upcoming updates. I have also double-checked and confirmed that this issue is still under investigation. There is currently no estimated time of resolution; however, we will provide an update as soon as more information becomes available.
In the meantime, you may check back periodically and watch for updates in the article referenced above.
Best regards,
Randy T.

Hello TheRiddler,
Thank you for the quick update.
By the way, let me check. Have you tried using version 4.1.0‑live.9650658? How was your gameplay?
Since there is a version that is stable, have you also checked this with the game developer?
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hello,
Star Citizen is an MMORPG, there is no way to revert to previous versions. Using the LIVE Version that is provided by RSI Launcher is mandatory. Only beta versions are available through the PTU

Hello TheRiddler,
Thank you for the quick update.
I understand, however please also take into consideration that the issue was triggered by the game update.
Meaning the update that they launched may have some bugs. That is why I am asking if you already tried to contact the game developer if they may release a new update soon to fix the issue?
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,

The problem still persists. As far as I understand it, this is a shared responsibility for the developer as well as Intel as the manufacturer of this driver. Am I wrong? Everything seems to work fine with NViDIA as well as ATI GPUs...
If Intel just wants to make the game developer responsible I am not sure If I as player want to keep my Intel GPU.

Hello TheRiddler,
Thank you for the update.
I understand where you are coming from however let's analyze that the issue was triggered after an update and there is also a stable version.
That means Intel already provided a good working driver for this game.
Please let us know if you still need assistance.
Best regards,

I find this result odd as the project in question has worked with Intel in the past. Please note that the "stable" version is constantly changing and that Intel Arc GPUs are the only ones affected by this bug. I, myself have been trying to generate logs to upload but it seems that the crash is not being put in the log. I have also made attempts to use this under linux with the same results.
Claiming that it was triggered after an update is also not correct. This issue has come and gone a few times with only the most recent incarnation being to the point of game-breaking.
I do not believe this is a bug caused by Intel drivers but... it does seem to be on Intel to resolve this issue. Star Citizen is even a project that Intel collaborated with in the past. I love my 900P drive and the Sabre Raven that it came with.
It is disheartening that Intel seems to be trying to get into the gaming graphics space and yet seems to not know how an MMO works.
Thank you for reading this and now it is time to put my old GTX 1080 back into my system so I can play Star Citizen again.
