GPU: Intel Arc B580
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
RAM: 16 GB
Storage: NVMe SSD
I have tested The Crew Motorfest and noticed that the game’s performance in 1440p is currently below what should be possible for the Arc B580.
The game runs without crashes, but regardless of the graphics settings used from Low to Ultra, it’s not possible to achieve a stable 60 FPS experience. During races or driving sections with nearby drivers, the average performance stays around 40–50 FPS. The drops seem to be related to PvP races, nighttime driving, or in biomes with heavy vegetation.
Lowering the visual settings does not improve the framerate, which suggests the issue might be driver related rather than purely GPU performance. I am currently playing on Ultra settings, and even Medium does not provide a stable experience.
According to CapFrameX, GPU utilization is consistently at 100%. I have also recorded detailed performance data using CapFrameX, which I can provide if needed. It appears that the B580 performs below its expected potential in this title. I’m hoping for a future driver or game update to improve performance.
Kind regards,
Bani

Hello bani1o7,
Thank you for reaching out to Intel Communities and sharing your comprehensive system details, CapFrameX data, and SSU report. Your thorough documentation really helps us analyze the situation effectively.
I can see you're facing performance challenges with The Crew Motorfest on your Intel Arc B580 - specifically struggling to maintain stable 60 FPS at 1440p, with framerates dropping to 40-50 FPS during racing scenarios, regardless of your graphics settings.
To dive deeper into this issue and provide you with the most targeted assistance, I'd appreciate if you could share some additional information:
- Where did you obtain The Crew Motorfest? (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect, etc.)
- What version/build of the game are you currently running?
- Power supply details (wattage and model if possible)
- Display configuration:
- Resolution: 1440p (confirmed)
- Refresh rate (60Hz, 144Hz, etc.)
- Color depth/format (8-bit, 10-bit, HDR settings)
- Are you using straight display cables or any converters/adapters/docking stations?
- Could you provide a screenshot of your current game settings?
- Are you using any specific graphics API (DirectX 11/12, Vulkan)?
- You mentioned drops during "PvP races, nighttime driving, or biomes with heavy vegetation" - could you provide more specific steps to reproduce these performance drops?
- Are there particular tracks, locations, or game modes where the issue is most noticeable?
- Does the issue occur immediately when launching the game or after playing for a certain period?
This information will help us pinpoint the root cause and work toward an effective solution.
Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hello Jeanette,
Thank you for your response. Here is the information you requested:
- Game Source: Ubisoft Connect
- Game Version: v4163497
- Power Supply: Sharkoon P20 Rebel, 750W (Gold certified).
- Display Configuration:
- Resolution: 1440p
- Refresh Rate: 180Hz
- Color: 10-bit, HDR is off
- Connection: Direct connection from GPU to Monitor with certified DisplayPort cable (no adapters/docks)
- Graphics API: Vulkan (The Crew Motorfest is Vulkan only)
- Performance Issue Details: The frame drops are situational, triggered by variables like weather, fog, and dense vegetation (e.g., jungle areas). They are not tied to a specific track and occur randomly based on in-game conditions. The issue can happen at any time, not specifically after a long session.
Here is a benchmark of the performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-G9e7322uU - Game Settings: My in-game graphics settings are
2560x1440, Borderless, TAA on, Vsync off,
everything else on Ultra
→ even lowering settings wouldn´t help me get steady 60fps.
I hope this information helps with the analysis.
Best regards.

Hello bani1o7,
Please take note that we're still investigating this issue as we speak. I just need to confirm the following details below:
- Have you performed clean installation of the latest graphics driver (version 32.0.101.8425) using DDU (in safe mode)? If not, please proceed with the recommended steps.
- Can you try disabling the integrated graphics in BIOS?
Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Yes, I always use DDU to install the latest drivers.
My system doesn’t have integrated graphics, so disabling them isn’t an option.
I’ve tried every possible setting in-game and in the BIOS, so it’s safe to say that the game simply runs this way on the B580 for now. I’m sure its performance could be significantly improved.
Looking forward to a update.
Best regards
Bani
