Intel C3000 Series Processor

I am new to this community and would like the experienced community members to help me out here.

I am interested in the Intel C3000 processors mainly:

• C3558 (4 Cores 4 Threads)
• C3708 (8 Cores 8 Threads)

As you are aware that it supports Quick Assist Technology. I would like to know how can I make use of it?

Does it come into play automatically? For increasing encrypted packet throughput up to 20 Gbps cryptography and up to 20 Gbps of compression as advertised ? Or do I have to program it to be able to do it? If yes then how to get started? Do I need some sort of Operating system deployed first then download any files or libraries etc for programming?

I am looking for a procedure if any to be able to incorporate QAT if there is one. Please let me know. Thank you in advance.
