The Intel AMT SCS Installation and User Manual provides some guidance on setting the PRTC timer. (You will need to download the SCS 1.1 release from the Manageability Developer Community website.) SCS=Setup and configuration Server.

Hello, I am also told that you can findit in the Network Interface Guide under Network Time Interface (see SetHighAccuracyTimeSynch and GetLowAccuracyTimeSynch).

You can only get and set the time remotely. Note that in the Network Inerface Guide, each interface lists the "Default Interface Access Permissions" followed by a box that specifies Local Access and Network Access Permissions. The Network Time Interface specifies that Local Access is not allowed.

Hello,

The Interface Access Permissions cannot be changed. (I agree, having the term "Default" does kind of imply that they can be modified.)
