SMbios UUID question

I have a question regarding the SMMBios UUID. Im not sure if this is the right place but im hoping someone can help me.
I have several machines that during PXE boot show their MAC address's and then show a GUID . Many of these machines are showing the same GUID. I am assuming this is just the UUID from the smbios. but how/why is it coming up the same on multiple machines with different mac address's. Is this number the same as the UUID and if not where is it coming from. The machines are Dell GX270's with the onboard NIC's.
