CPU not registered in the InferenceEngine for older Intel CPU

Hi,

I've just upgraded to the latest OpenVino 2020 R1. On a system with older Intel CPU, I tested out the hello_query_device in debug mode, it returned with CPU device ok. Other sample apps worked ok too. In release mode, CPU device does not exist and all other samples failed to infer with CPU.  The previous release of OpenVino works fine. Does the new release stop supporting older CPU for inference?

Hi Allen,

Thanks for reaching out, the OpenVINO toolkit only supports 6th to 10th generation Intel Core  Intel Xeon processors. Older processors are not guaranteed to work. Which processor are you using?
