Couldn't open NCS device

Hello,

 

I've just picked up my NCS and when i try to run hellp_ncs_py on linux ubuntu 16.04 VM it says Error Couldn't open NCS device.

 

Any help please?

And it works well on my raspberry pi 3, but when running stream infer example from ncappzoo its says:

 

 

python3 stream_infer.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "stream_infer.py", line 13, in <module> gi.require_version('Gst', '1.0') File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/gi/__init__.py", line 118, in require_version raise ValueError('Namespace %s not available' % namespace) ValueError: Namespace Gst not available Makefile:12: recipe for target 'run' failed make: *** [run] Error 1

@Tome_at_Intel the virtual box runs on top of Linux mint

 

and i have followed that article while setting up the VM, i attached some screenshots for VM configuration

Worked as a charm after changing remote option in USB filter to no.
