Movidius for ARM Cortex

Hey there, first post so please be gentle.

I have noticed that Movidius is running on X86 computers and ARMv7 (Raspberry Pi). Is it possible to run for any other ARM systems such as ARMv8 etc.

I have an old SOC Board with ARM Cortex A15 (ARMv7L) and would like to run Movidius NCSDK on it, but so far it is coming up with a install errors.

Is there any reason for Ubuntu 16.04 as a requirement?

Has anybody got it to run under Ubuntu 14.04?

Are there any dependencies to install such as gstreamer/Python/etc?

Should I just give up with ARM compatibility and find an X86 SOC?

Any help or advice would be great thanks.
