NC_ERROR

Dear all,

I am keep getting the following error:

[ERROR] can not init USB device: NC_ERROR

I am using NCS2 and using Intel distribution of OpenVINO toolkit for Linux :https://docs.openvinotoolkit.org/latest/_docs_install_guides_installing_openvino_linux.html

Interestingly it works fine on Windows 10. However, OpenVINO cannot detect NCS2 on Ubuntu 18.04. I installed Ubuntu on both of my personal laptop and Virtualbox installed on Windows 10.

I have gone through all the additional steps to Install External Software Dependencies, Set the Environment Variables, Configure the Model Optimizer, and verification https://docs.openvinotoolkit.org/latest/_docs_install_guides_installing_openvino_linux.html

Any adivce would be appreciated.

Dear JO, MICHAEL,

Perhaps you need to retrace Additional NCS Steps and try again. I'm sure this is a frustrating problem for you. Also I'm not sure if you're using OpenVino 2019 R2, which is the latest release. Though I don't believe that your issue is related to the OpenVino version you may as well be on the latest and the freshest.

Please don't hesitate to inform me of your status on this forum.
