Hi,
Has anyone tried to install this on macOS/OSX?
Any guidelines / instructions on doing this on that platform?
When I try, I get the following error:
MacBook-Pro:ncsdk ss$ make install
sed: 1: "ncsdk.conf": extra characters at the end of n command
make: *** [prereqs] Error 1
MacBook-Pro:ncsdk ss$
Thanks,
Sandip

@sshah254, you'll have to run NCSDK on a VM for MAC & Windows. Instructions are here - https://movidius.github.io/ncsdk/VirtualMachineConfig.html

Hi,
I'm facing the same issue on MAC. At this point the https://movidius.github.io/ncsdk/VirtualMachineConfig.html page returns 404. Is there another page containing the same information?

@samehuman Here is the updated link: https://movidius.github.io/ncsdk/vm_config.html. You can always use the doc site's table of contents to find what you need: https://movidius.github.io/ncsdk/TOC.html

Hi
At this time I have not yet been able to successfully install the full sdk on Mac OS, full install meaning compilation tools+ 'run-time' tools.
However, it is possible to trick the 'run-time' part of install to make it run on MacOS. Then, if you cannot translate your models in a format suitable for Movidius stick on MacOS, you can do the translation in a supported platform (or grab it from someone else),plug your Movidius on your Mac and make it run your translated model without usage of a VM.
The process is described at: https://github.com/acharroux/Movidius-On-MacOS
Enjoy !

Depends on the mac, but you should be running Ubuntu 16.04, and if you can't figure it out past that then do your self a favor and return the USB and forget CV Neural Networks or aplicable data science. Also your question lacks detail and should be deleted
