The inference engine returns error: clGetPlatformIDs error -1001.

to follow install and problem solved instruction , but still got the error -1001 message. 

test environment

  • Ubuntu: 18.04 LTS
  • CPU: i5-1145GRE
  • GPU: Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics
  • Intel OpenVINO toolkit: 2021.2
  • OpenCL runtime library: 20.43.18277

issue has been solved when Linux kernel version 5.8.0. here is installation information for reference  

 

Version

Ubuntu O/S

20.04 LTS w/ Linux Kernel version 5.8.0

Intel OpenVINO Toolkit

2021.2

OpenCL Driver

manual install 20.43.18277

  • The command/program that you run when you get the error.
  • Full log error in text/snapshot if available.

Hi Kevinlin,


If possible, could you run the 'demo_squeezenet_download_convert_run.bat' infer with GPU? The demo is located in the '<openvino_dir>\deployment_tools\demo' directory. Please share the outcome here.
