movidius stick is not recognised by virtual env

I have downloaded the virtual env on my mac machine. and loading ubuntu 16.4 using a image file. After that, i followed the instruction from https://movidius.github.io/ncsdk/vm_config.html and did the installation by connecting the movidius stick to the mac computer.

It says Toolkit error: USB failure. Code: no device found.

Please help.

@kitushan Make sure you follow the instructions at https://movidius.github.io/ncsdk/virtualenv.html for virtual env. The link you provided is related to virtual machines. Let me know if you still have issues after following these steps.

hi, thanks for the response. Sorry my subject heading is wrong. I am talking about virtual box where i download the ubuntu image and run on virtual box. I am working on mac laptop and have downloaded virtual image of ubuntu for training my images on movidius on it.

do you have any solution on how to fix the usb device now found issue?

I fixed this. It just need a compatible extension pack which can recognize the usb port. simple!! :-)
