where exactly do samples get made to?

After you run build_samples.sh in the samples directory, where....does it make to in a raspberry pi? The documentation here, just says to run build_samples.sh then.....what? It just magically builds them to somewhere? But doesn't tell you where? I'm just at a loss here. Thanks.
