Questions about ECI license

Hi,

In the previous question about 「Dump-capture kernel not executed for NMI kernel panic」

Mr/ Lay advised us to manually patch the file in kernel 5.10 source code and rebuild the linux-intel-rt deb package to solve kernel dump issue.

Solved: Re:How to enable kernel crash dump on ECI 3.0(Debian Distribution) - Intel Communities

And Our question is:

We plan to use this ECI( include manually patchedlinux-intel-rt deb package ) in our products.

So What must we do to have the license to use this manually patched ECI in our products?

Best regards

Bui

Hi Bui,

The manually patched kernel is still covered within ECI license. You can work with your sales representative for the production license; internally we will reach out to your account manager as well.
