Hi there,

I'm trying to use Windows 11 to open the DSP Builder in MATLAB 2023a. I am getting this error, though.

Since I have to start working as soon as possible, any assistance would be very appreciated.

Many thanks for it.

Hi,

Before running DSP Builder, set QUARTUS_ROOTDIR to refer to an Intel Quartus Prime Standard installation. Then the various Intel Quartus Prime related features in DSP Builder use that Intel Quartus Prime Standard installation.

For more info, please refer 2.4. DSP Builder for Intel® FPGAs Device Support Section in user guide.

Thank you,

Thank you for your suggestion. Could you possibly write the steps to include the set root directory? I'm not sure about the proposal right now because I'd be using the builder on the Windows platform, which means I'd need to set the root directory in the environment variables. Is that right?

I 've found a link QUARTUS_ROOTDIR documentation, Is this a recommended link?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

Please follow below steps.

For the Windows operating system, do the following:

  1. Point to Start, and click Control Panel.
  2. Click System >Advanced system settings >Environment Variables.
  3. Create an environment variable QUARTUS_ROOTDIR that points to the <home directory>/altera <version number> location (Quartus installation path).

Thank you,
