After I ran my compilation, everything was successful, but when I go and started a simulation on the University Program (VWF), an error occurred. I was researching online, and it says that I am missing the license file. thanks

Hello,

You can register in SSLC- Self Service License Center : https://licensing.intel.com/psg/s/

re-generate your license.

Or you can download latest Quartus Prime Lite edition and generate the Questasim(Modelsim) license.

Hi,

misleading thread title, Modelsim AE rather than Quartus 13.1 license error.

Unless you have a Modemsim AE license, you should install Modelsim ASE (Altera Starter Edition) which doesn't need a license.

Or use Questa Intel Starter Edition, as suggested. You need to acquire a free license from Intel for it.

Best regards
Frank
