Hi,

Based on the error there you have not set the environment variable for LM_LICENSE_FILE and MGLS_LICENSE FILE.

How to setup

right-click My Computer, and then select Properties -->Click the Advanced tab, and then click Environment Variables --> If the license file LM_LICENSE_FILE exists, select it, then select Edit. If it does not exist, select New and type LM_LICENSE_FILE in the Variable box --> Type \license.dat or @ in the Value box.(C:\QUARTUS2WE\license.dat or 1800@myserver)[port number@hostnameserver] --> Click OK -->

Repeat the same above for MGLS_LICENSE_FILE

Go to tool in Quartus --> license setup --> tick LM_LICENSE_FILE box. If product list appear in the box AMPP/Megacore function the Quartus manage to detect the environment and you are good to go to use Quartus. Otherwise reboot your machine and launch the Quartus and by now should be okay.

Thanks,

Regards

Hi,

Btw that one is for window, for linux you can set the environment by editing  your .cshrc or .bashrc file

Note: Linux: You must source your .cshrc or .bashrc file before restarting the Quartus Prime software. See the topic on setting up the Linux environment for more details.
