Hello,

Welcome to INTEL forum. Based on my understanding, there is new feature for customer to request AES (design security feature) for Quartus Web/lite Edition in SSLC.

Here’s the steps:

1.          Login to https://licensing.intel.com/

2.          Go to Sign up for Evaluation or Free licenses

3.          Select Intel® Quartus® II Software SW-QUARTUS-WE-FIX

4.          # of Seats is always 1 for Quartus Web Edition

5.          Check the T&C box

6.          Click Get License button

a.          Check the option product “Intel FPGA Software SII-NONVOLENCRYP”

b.          Add New Computer or Assign an Existing computer

7.          Add the required fields

8.          Click Generate License

You will be taken to the Licensing page, and you should be able to receive the email with license attached.

Hope this help!

Hello, this is noch working for me. I'm still not able to encrypt programming files. This Option is not available. This should be in the new window when clicking on "properties".2023-07-20 13_46_07-Window.png

I am using Quartus Prime 17.1 Lite Edition.

In AN 556: Using the Design Security Features in Intel FPGAs on page 12:

"Note: To enable the design security feature for Intel Quartus Prime Lite Edition, obtain a
license file from Intel FPGA Technical Support."

Regards, Tobias
