Hello,

When I try to create a project in Quartus Prime Pro 24.1 platform designer I encounter this error:

Error: Missing file C:/intelfpga_pro/24.1/quartus/sopc_builder/hw_builtin.iipx
Error: Missing file C:/intelfpga_pro/24.1/quartus/sopc_builder/sw_builtin.iipx
Error: Missing file C:/intelfpga_pro/24.1/quartus/sopc_builder/package_builtin.iipx

Is this related to installation corruption or related to limited license file?

Thank you.

May I know your OS. And what type of license are you using?

Sure, the OS is Windows 10 Enterprise, and the license file is Intel Quartus Prime Software 90-Day Evaluation (Standard and Pro Editions) (License: EVALUATION-LIC) generated by the Intel FPGA Self-Service Licensing Center.

Although the company I work for recently purchased the DK-SI-AGI027FA Dev Kit with AGIB027R31B1E1V, I have not obtained a license file that allows me to work with Platform Designer. There is a document in the package stating that I will be provided with a free one-year license file, but I am unsure how to proceed.

Your kind attention and prompt response are truly appreciated.

Hi there, if you have purchased the dev kit, an activation code should be sent to you email address that you used to place the order.

Please follow the steps:

Hi there,

Same problem here:

Quartus Prime Version 24.2.0 on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

Is there a patch available?

Should I  try an older version of Quartus?

Thanks,

Reinout

Go to Tools-> options -> IP and Development board search settings. Removing any paths under Board and IP search paths resolved the error for me.
Hope this helps

Canned demo straight out-of-the box, and it does this?

Nobody responds.

Some helpful user figures this out 6 months later.

Does anyone use this product?

Does anyone read this stuff?
