Hello,

We are using a Cyclone IV FPGA with an EPCQ16 Serial Configuration Device. We are programming the EPCQ through the FPGA using JTAG and USB Blaster II. We were able to successfully program the EPCS on an earlier version board:

This is what success looks like with an EPCS16 device targeted and the exact same source bitstream...

Hi Steven,

Please provide more details:

1) Are you trying two different devices, EPCQ16 and EPCS16 using same programming file?

2) What is the type of programming file you are using?

3) Quartus version?

4) Other than JTAG, do you have other configuration method on board?

Regards.
