Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to kindly request permission to use materials derived from the operation of Quartus Prime Lite and ModelSim Lite for an academic course delivered remotely by the Hellenic Open University (www.eap.gr ) in the lab textbook distributed to students. The modules (lab course) are described in the following links:
https://www.eap.gr/en/undergraduate/computer-science/topics/#plipsr
https://www.eap.gr/en/undergraduate/computer-science/topics/#psis2
In this course, students registered to the course utilize Quartus and ModelSim on their personal computers and are trained to digital design and development on boards equipped with Intel Cyclone IV FPGAs. To support the learning process, we have developed laboratory exercises that include screenshots taken from Quartus and ModelSim, obtained on our own devices. Thus, while the download and use of Quartus Prime Lite (including Modelsim) are license free, we would like to explicitly verify that the use of screenshots from the operation of the tools during project design and development and its inclusion in the lab textbook (always with the proper Acknowledgement to the Intel support for the free use of the tools for academic purposes) is also free from any IP rights related to these images.
For your reference, a PDF version of the textbook (in Greek) is made available here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1n92TDKizQ6lVtynu4uRxS46ygReLc3xS/view?usp=sharing .
Thank you for considering this request. Please let me know if you require any additional information or documentation.
Looking forward for your response.
Best regards,
Fanis Orphanoudakis

We, application engineer, provide technical support through the forum, but questions related to legal matters are beyond the scope of what I can address.
I recommend reaching out to fpgauniversity@intel.com for further assistance. Alternatively, you may contact the individual you mentioned.
Please note that Altera is now a standalone company, and Intel email addresses will soon be deactivated.
For additional support, you can refer to the following link:
