Hello Hazlina,
Thanks for the membership site, I applied yesterday. The response said it would take up to five days to be approved.
Let me explain what I'm looking for.
My community college needs to set up a lab using the Terasic DE0-CV Cyclone V FPGA board. The lab is part of a Digital Logic Class offered
in the Fall21 semester.
I have discovered The Quartus II Prime Lite and ModelSim Starter will provide the needed capabilities for the student labs. Nether requires a license.
My question(s) 1. Can this un-licensed software be used in a lab class? or 2. Will my college need to purchase licenses?
If the membership forum can answer this, Where and how do I ask the question?
Thanks for your help,
Doug Fitzpatrick

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. I overlooked this.
1) Yes you may use the Lite and Modelsim starter version in the lab or class setting
2) Your colleagues do not require a license if they use the Lite version of the tool.
