2013 Update 2 numbering?

I downloaded and installed Update 2 w_fcompxe_novsshell_2013.2.149.exe.  Yet when I look at the names used in the start menu, it references 13.1.  And when I look in the registry (Software/INTEL/compilers/FORTRAN) it lists 130.149.  And when I run the compiler it lists 13.1.0.149.  Is there some reason these are not all consistently numbered?  I would expect the start menu to list 13.2, and the registry entry to be 132.149 and the compiler heading to write out 13.2.0.149 (or similar).

I agree it's confusing.  Normally, this would have been 13.0.2, but the marketing people wanted us to call it 13.1. However, in other places we needed to keep the "13.0" or "130" or else things would have been more complicated for the installers and VS integration.  I suggest treating the .1 as "silent".

The product version is 2013 Update 2 (or 2013.2). It contains components that have various version numbers (MKL is 11.0 Update 2, for example.)
