2015 Initial Release vs 2013 SP1 Update 4 Build Dates

Why is the build date for Fortran 2013 SP1 Update 4 (August 5)  more recent than 2015 Initial Release (July 23)?  I would assume that the 2015 release would be the most current  (see attached PDF)

Different code bases. We did the build for 2013 SP1 Update 4 later (there is typically a 6 week gap between the build of a major release and its availability. The 2015 code base has more in it - 2013 SP1 Update 4 has just a few targeted bug fixes for customers who don't yet want to change versions.

OK...So which version has the latest Fortran compiler?  I noticed that Intel Software Manager does not show 2015 Initial Release as available to install. Sorry about the confusion...

The 2015 release is the one you want if you want new stuff.

You are correct that Intel Software Manager doesn't tell you about new releases.
