Any plans for a student version of IVF 8

I'm not sure who I should write to specifically, but I'll try here and see if someone can point me to theright person. In the past, we had a license for the student version of CVF. Unfortunately, our license ran out in the fall of 2003. We offer a FORTRAN course which typically has about 100 students per semester, and we would like to use IVF 8.0 because the development environment is much easier for first time programmers. Is there any chance at getting a class license for IVF 8? Will their be a student version? Thanks very much for any advice offered. Sincerely,
Elliott Hutchcraft

Hi Elliott,

Check out http://www.intel.com/software/products/global/academic.htm. Intel offers classroom licenses and student licenses next to the usual academic licenses. Call any of the academic resellers listed at http://www.intel.com/software/products/global/edureseller.htm.

If you have further questions, you can write to me at Fortran@Intel.com.

Hope this helps.

Take care,

Christian, Intel Corp.

There already is a student license as well as classroom licensing. See here. If I recall correctly, the student price is $29 - student pricing is available from resellers only, not directly from Intel.
