BUG in forum software (?)

I did a search on this forum for all posts under my user name, and it came up with only two things I posted this month:

(1) Today's post and
(2) The one on Dec. 7

It can't find the one I posted a few days ago.
Any idea what happened to it?

This has happened before, where I post a message and it disappeared,
but this is the first time with a post that was already replied to.

Is this the thread that you refer to as missing? The search tool for postings is not very good. I often find that a Google search turns up posts to ISN more reliably than the local search!

Just click on your username and you'll be shown a list of "Contributions" in descending date order. You have dozens listed in December.

I agree that the forum search is not very good. I am told a forum upgrade is coming in 2012 that should improve things. Using Google is often a good bet.
