CVF Failure

One of the international people that have our code are reporting the following error in several of our modules using CVF:

Assertion failure: Compiler internal error - please submit problem report
GEM ASSERTION, Compiler internal error - please submit problem report
f90: Fatal: There has been an internal compiler error (E0000003).
Any idea on how to research this or what to tell them (besides to upgrade to a different compiler):
This is CVF 6 but I'm unsure of the patch version.

Well, the first thing to do is check the version. 6.6C is the latest. Otherwise, the best you can do is try to isolate the code that triggers the error and see if you can work around it. Sometimes trying different options will help. Of course, upgrading to a current, supported compiler would be my recommendation.
