I am collecting license/support information about Intel's support policies. Specifically, we want to know if we can replace our physical FLEXlm license servers with virtual FLEXlm license servers without jeopardizing our VF support contract.

I don't know if we've ever tried that. A bit of Google searching tells me that it might work as long as you assign a unique port number to the instance. The Startup Support people might know - I'll direct them here for your question.
