Evaluation version of Visual Fortran questions

postaquestion

I would like to evaluate Visual Fortran for Windows. (I need to make sure it is compatible with v8.1.) I have two questions:

1) I downloaded a copy of Visual Studio 2005 Express from the link provided, but there is not a listing for Visual Fortran. Does it matter which I choose?

2) How long is the evaluation?

Thanks.

You want Visual C++ 2005 Express - not C# or VB or anything else. Note that this will enable command-line use of the Fortran compiler only. If you purchase the product, you'll get the full visual development environment.

The evaluation is for 30 days.
