Fortran XE 2011 installation on OSX failed

I downloaded and successfully installed a trial version of the C++ Composer XE 2011 on my Macbook Pro using the key sent to me by email and the silent instruction manual provided. I did the same with the Fortran XE 2011 suite and it installed everrything except the compiler itself; MKL, Xcode plugin etc were all installed. Looking at the logfile it seems that the serial number does not have the right number of characters. I counted it and it was 13, as required. Has anyone come across this problem and if so, is there a possible remdy out there?
