From time to time the error "fortcom: Severe: No such file or directory" appears

Hello,

from time to time we are confronted with an error message (Intel Fortran 11.1.065, with Visual Studio):

fortcom: Severe: No such file or directory

whereas a fraction of a second before one or more compilations were successful
and in most cases restarting Visual Studio makes the error go away.

Any idea what is the matter?

No idea. I suspect a timing issue in Windows. Is the file on a local disk?
