How to do Fortran Composer upgrade?

I wanted to upgrade to the newest version of your Fortran Composer, but the people over at the licensing and registration Web site do NOT seem to know what the procedure is. As long as I have a current license it is supposed to be included.

However, when I click on the LINK, it points to a bunch of RESELLERS. And of course when I talk to them they want their current price(S).

So far, no one seems to know what the procedure is for upgrading, if I have a current license.

I did not have this problem with the Math Kernel library.

I was hoping someone on your side of the fence would know more about this procedure.

Any ideas?

Log on to https://registrationcenter.intel.com/  It will show you the latest version you are licensed for. Click that then select a download and run it.  It's the same process as any of our developer tools, including MKL.

It is true that the Intel Software Manager doesn't show you version upgrades even if you're eligible for them. (It does show updates within a version.)

If you have registered your current IFort package, you should be able to sign in at https://registrationcenter.intel.com/regcenter/register.aspx. If you have not yet registered, you have to do that as a first step. Note that your credentials to post in the forum are not necessarily the same as those used to register the product.

You will then see a list of the product installers that your license allows you to download.

So, should I assume that I cannot get version 14 with my current license?

I now have version 13.

When would I be able to get version 14? Next year's license renewal, perhaps?

Apparently, contrary to what I have been told, an upgrade to a different version DOES require me to go thru one of the resellers.

I get different stories from different people on that.

We license by date, not version number. When you buy a license, you have access to any version released in the next year.

You have a license with a support end date of January 20, 2015, so you can get our latest version 15.0.1 at no additional charge. You probably won't be able to get update 2 unless you renew, and note that we give a sizable discount for renewing before expiration.
