IMSL installation not accepting the serial key

Hello,

I installed Intel® [Visual] Fortran Composer XE 2011 on window 10 OS using a serial key.  But when I try to use the same serial key to install IMSL Fortran Numerical Library, Version 6, it shows me an error as per the attached photo. 

It had worked well on my previous computer system. I am really clueless as to what to be done. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The software that you are attempting to install is nearly a decade old, and it would cause little surprise if we find out that the old installer does not work on Windows 10. Here is something that you may try, if possible:

  • Retrieve the IMSL license file from your old computer or from the Intel Registration Center 
  • Attempt installing IMSL again, giving it that license file instead of the Intel Fortran registration key.
