Installation error for 2024.2.1 compiler update in OneAPI HPC toolkit

This is the first time i see this kind of installation error. The OneAPI package was "w_HPCKit_p_2024.2.1.80_offline.exe":

 

"ERROR : Installation of component has failed.
Component id: intel.oneapi.win.mpi.runtime, name: Intel® MPI Library, version: 2021.13.1+766.
Error: Sequence execution failed."

The problem didn't reoccur after rebooting my computer (I managed to install the HPC toolkit), so this will remain a bit of a mystery!
