Intel Fortran Compiler 11.1 now available

Intel Fortran Compiler version 11.1 is now available for download through the Intel Software Development Products Registration Center. Some of the new features of 11.1 include:

  • Most of the Fortran 2003 "object oriented" features, including CLASS, SELECT TYPE, polymorphic entities, inheritance association, deferred bindings, type inquiry functions
  • Type-bound procedures (GENERIC and type-bound operators not yet supported)
  • Deferred-length character entities
