The tests of [Minpack](https://github.com/fortran-lang/minpack.git) fail with the latest version of ifx `ifx 2025.1.0`, while they pass with previous versions (e.g., `ifx 2024.2.0`)

After removing the options one per one, it is the option "-standard-semantics" that triggers the segfault on my OS.

Maybe it would be worth elaborating on what happens and what is expected. I personally do not use git and would need learn how to use it. On windows:

It compiles OK with default options. Do I infer it is "bad" run time results? Anyway, as a forum user that is as far as I am going. I hope whatever issue gets resolved.

Thank you @andrew_4619 for testing it. Indeed, I can compile the whole project with ifx 2025.1.0, but the tests fail (see below). It is not the case with previous version of ifx or other compilers (ifort or gfortran).
Here are the commands used for compiling one of the tests of the project (on Linux):

OK helpful. I build and ran (windows) with my default settings in VS (Debug build). That seems to run to completion so the problem is either OS or build option dependant. Have you tried with a debug build?

- debug: -warn all -check all,nouninit -O0 -g -assume byterecl -standard-semantics -traceback
- release: -O3 -fp-model precise -pc64 -align all -reentrancy threaded -nogen-interfaces -assume byterecl -standard-semantics
Would you recommend another set of options?

I tried a few options but don't get a crash, I suspect then it is operating system dependant, You could try removing options to see if a particular option triggers the fault. You could also step through it to find where it crashes, the trace back you gave didn't show anything useful.

After removing the options one per one, it is the option "-standard-semantics" that triggers the segfault on my OS.
